    Job Description

    The Operations Manager – Construction plays a pivotal role in overseeing the successful execution of Icon Group’s development and construction projects, ensuring that all builds meet the company’s quality standards and brand promise.

    This role encompasses managing construction timelines, enforcing team compliance with policies and procedures, and developing strategic plans to streamline operations and optimize performance across multiple markets.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Manage construction timelines and ensure all projects meet Icon Group’s quality and safety standards.

    • Enforce compliance with schedules, policies, and procedures to ensure consistent operational performance.

    • Develop and implement strategic plans to improve construction efficiency and standardization across all divisions.

    • Ensure all materials and installations comply with Icon Group’s specifications and brand standards.

    • Forecast and manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocations to maintain efficiency and profitability.

    • Monitor team and vendor performance to ensure timely completion and accountability.

    • Mentor and inspire project managers through consistent communication, leadership development, and process training.

    • Ensure all team members are properly equipped, trained, and aligned with company objectives.

    • Prepare and analyze regular project reports on progress, budget variance, and key performance indicators.

    • Communicate effectively with leadership teams, reporting key updates and operational results.

    • Collaborate cross-functionally with design, finance, and operations teams to resolve issues and enhance process flow.

    Qualifications

    • Prior construction or real estate operations experience required.

    • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously.

    • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    • Demonstrated ability to adapt to change and drive process improvement.

    • Proficient with mobile and cloud-based project management systems.

    • Financial literacy and budget management experience preferred.

    Role Overview

    The Regional Real Estate Manager – Multifamily will oversee the operational and financial performance of Icon Group’s multifamily assets within designated territories.

    This leadership role ensures that each community operates efficiently, meets profitability goals, and reflects the company’s commitment to quality and excellence.

    Reporting directly to senior leadership, the Regional Manager will lead, coach, and develop on-site property teams while driving initiatives that optimize occupancy, elevate resident experience, and enhance portfolio performance.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement regional strategies to maximize portfolio performance and ensure operational alignment with company goals.

    • Oversee all marketing, leasing, and retention efforts across multifamily communities, tailoring strategies to each local market.

    • Ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations, including Fair Housing and Landlord-Tenant laws.

    • Lead, mentor, and support property management teams; provide guidance on performance management, staffing, and leadership development.

    • Conduct regular site visits and performance reviews, ensuring operational excellence and proactive issue resolution.

    • Collaborate with property teams to prepare, manage, and analyze budgets, financial reports, and capital improvement plans.

    • Partner with maintenance, construction, and asset management teams to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to standard.

    • Monitor and report on key performance indicators such as occupancy, rent growth, expense control, and resident satisfaction.
