Position Overview
The Operations Manager – Construction plays a critical leadership role in overseeing the successful execution of Icon Group development and construction projects while ensuring exceptional quality, operational efficiency, and financial performance.
This position is responsible for managing construction operations, driving accountability, improving processes, and delivering projects that align with Icon Group’s standards, objectives, and brand promise.
The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who combines field expertise with operational discipline and a passion for building high-performing teams.
Essential Responsibilities
Project Leadership
Manage construction schedules and oversee project execution from start to completion.
Ensure all projects meet Icon Group quality, safety, and performance standards.
Identify and resolve construction challenges while maintaining project momentum.
Operational Excellence
Enforce company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
Develop and implement process improvements that increase efficiency and consistency.
Establish accountability measures that improve performance across teams and projects.
Ensure materials, installations, and workmanship align with company specifications.
Financial Performance
Forecast and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
Monitor costs, productivity, and profitability throughout each project.
Analyze budget variances and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Leadership & Team Development
Provide coaching, mentoring, and leadership development to project teams.
Foster accountability, communication, and continuous improvement.
Ensure team members have the training, tools, and support needed for success.
Communication & Collaboration
Prepare regular reports regarding project status, financial performance, and key metrics.
Communicate effectively with executive leadership and operational teams.
Collaborate with design, finance, sales, and operations teams to improve project outcomes.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of residential or commercial construction management experience.
Single-family construction experience preferred.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects, teams, and priorities simultaneously.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
Financial literacy with experience managing budgets and project costs.
Proficiency with mobile and cloud-based construction management systems.
Commitment to exceptional customer, vendor, and stakeholder relationships.
Minimum Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
Ability to travel between project sites as required.
Strong attention to detail and operational excellence.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience with Yardi or similar project management platforms preferred.
Multi-market or cross-functional leadership experience.
Background in process improvement and operational scalability.
Physical Requirements
Regular standing, walking, climbing, bending, and lifting.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Frequent field visits and active construction site participation.
Ability to safely navigate construction environments.

Position Overview
The Regional Real Estate Manager – Multifamily serves as a key leadership role responsible for the operational and financial performance of Icon Group's multifamily portfolio within assigned markets.
This position provides strategic oversight of property operations while driving occupancy, resident satisfaction, financial performance, and team development.
Reporting directly to executive leadership, the Regional Manager leads property teams, develops operational strategies, and ensures every community reflects Icon Group's commitment to excellence, accountability, and long-term value creation.
Essential Responsibilities
Portfolio Leadership
Develop and execute regional strategies that maximize asset performance and align with company objectives.
Oversee operational performance across multiple communities within assigned markets.
Ensure each property consistently achieves occupancy, revenue, and operational goals.
Financial Performance
Prepare, analyze, and manage operating budgets and financial forecasts.
Monitor key performance indicators including occupancy, rent growth, expense management, delinquency, and net operating income.
Identify opportunities to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
Operational Excellence
Conduct regular property visits, operational reviews, and performance assessments.
Ensure compliance with company policies, Fair Housing regulations, and all applicable local, state, and federal requirements.
Develop and implement operational improvements that drive consistency and performance.
Team Leadership & Development
Recruit, mentor, coach, and develop on-site leadership teams.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Support succession planning and leadership development initiatives.
Resident Experience
Oversee marketing, leasing, retention, and resident engagement strategies.
Ensure communities maintain high standards of customer service and resident satisfaction.
Address operational challenges proactively to protect both resident experience and asset performance.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with construction, maintenance, asset management, finance, and executive leadership teams.
Support capital improvement projects, lease-up initiatives, and operational transitions.
Communicate performance results and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in multifamily property management or regional portfolio operations.
Proven ability to manage multiple assets and teams across multiple markets.
Strong financial acumen and understanding of property operations.
Experience driving occupancy growth, expense control, and operational performance.
Excellent leadership, communication, and coaching abilities.
Strong organizational and strategic planning skills.
Proficiency with property management software and reporting systems.
Ability to travel regularly between communities and regional markets.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience with value-add multifamily assets or lease-up communities.
Proven success improving NOI, occupancy, and resident satisfaction.
Experience leading regional teams and developing future leaders.

Sales Operations & Performance
Oversee sales forecasting, pipeline management, reporting, and analytics.

Team Development
Recruit, develop, and mentor high-performing sales leaders and teams.

Qualifications

Experience within real estate, construction, homebuilding, consulting, or other growth-oriented industries preferred.
Demonstrated success achieving or exceeding revenue goals and performance objectives.
Strong leadership, communication, and executive presentation skills.
